Privacy Policy

This website, dvirtsimbler.com, is the personal portfolio of Dvir Tsimbler, a fashion designer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. This policy explains what personal information is collected when you visit the site or contact me, why, and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What I collect

  • Messages you send me. The site has no contact form. If you email me, I receive your name, email address and the content of your message, plus anything else you choose to include.
  • Technical information. Like every website, the servers that host the site automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and the time of your visit. The hosting platform may also record basic technical events, such as when the site loads and how long a visit lasts, to run and monitor its service.
  • Browser storage. The site stores a few technical values in your browser that it needs in order to load. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

I do not sell anything on this site, I do not process payments, and I do not knowingly collect sensitive information. Please do not send me sensitive information, such as health details or identification numbers.

3. Why I use it

  • To read and reply to your message, for example about a job opportunity, a collaboration or a press request. Legal basis under the GDPR: my legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries, and steps you asked me to take.
  • To deliver, secure and fix the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

I will not use your details for marketing or add you to a mailing list without your separate, explicit consent.

4. You are not obliged to give me information

There is no legal obligation to give me any personal information, and browsing the site requires none. If you choose not to share your name and email address, I simply will not be able to reply to you.

5. Who receives your information

I do not sell, rent or trade personal information. It is handled only by services that run the site and my email for me:

  • Base44, which hosts and operates the website.
  • My email provider, which stores the messages I receive.
  • Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the site’s typefaces load.
  • Instagram and LinkedIn, only if you choose to follow a link to them. Their own privacy policies apply there.

I may also disclose information if the law or a competent authority requires it.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers store data outside Israel and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, these transfers rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses used by those providers.

7. How long I keep it

I keep emails for as long as I need them to handle the conversation, and delete them within 24 months of our last contact, unless we are working together and I need to keep them longer. Server records are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period under its own policy.

8. Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may ask to see the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to have your data erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, email Dvir@dvirtsimbler.com. I will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, or to the data protection authority in your country.

9. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only I have access to the messages I receive. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential material by email.

10. Children

This site is meant for adults and professionals. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
